Dysport®

Dysport® is an injectable prescription medicine that treats muscle conditions such as:

abnormal head position and neck pain that happens with cervical dystonia (CD) in adults
temporary relief of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows (glabellar lines) in adults under age 65

Cervical Dystonia (CD)

Dysport® is useful for treating CD because it weakens the spasming muscles in the nect that cause abnormal head position and neck pain. CD patients who receive Dysport® may experience symptom relief for up to 12 to 16 weeks, possibly longer.

Severe Frown Lines

Dysport® can treat deep frown lines (wrinkles) due to repeated muscle tightening. Injection into the muscles that control facial expression stops the tightening of these muscles for up to 4 months.
